ad.lib
Specification Database

Ad.lib, to a great extent, lies at the heart of all we do. It is a central 'library' of digital and press ad specifications for many thousands of publications and websites – UK regional, UK national and overseas. It is part of the integrated solution embedded within a number of our other apps including ad.fast, ad.min+ and ad.just.

ad.lib for advertisers

  • Free to search.
  • Select different publications and sizes and create a schedule of specs for your artworkers.
  • Download an InDesign file to the correct size for any ad.

  • Email any specs you find to anyone.
  • It’s the only site to supply all the UK regional title ad specifications.
  • It includes all the data you need to supply ads correctly: type area, trim, bleed and PDF sizes, ICC colour space, proofing profile, TAC, deadline info, and much more.
  • Properly structured digital ad spec format – which we designed and developed ourselves because there just isn’t another one out there.
  • If you want to streamline your production processes we can provide you with a range of ways in which to access and integrate our data with your processes and systems – from a simple web call for publication names to a fully blown API with live updates on all the data in the ad.lib specification library.
  • Integrating using our API carries a small annual charge, but in every other way ad.lib is free … well, what are you waiting for? Try it out by going to our home page and typing in a publication name into the search bar … and off you go.

ad.lib for publishers

  • For publishers, ad.lib is the only solution that can fully deliver your  requirements. You get complete access to create, edit and delete all your specs – titles, sections, sizes and more. Or we will do it for you if you just tell us what changes you need made.
  • All this sits within an easy to use interface that gives you full control over a very dynamic solution. And you can add your digital ad specs too. In fact you can create a web link either to a single title or to all of your publications presented as a list to the user. This allows you to carry just one URL link across all your communications channels (website, printed publications, etc.) and gives your advertisers quick and easy access to all the ad specs they need – potentially saving hours of telephone calls every week.
